I have to make mention on this article, since it leads to the best indication to what I advocate here on ZY and this is the DIY movement and the act of Gadgetry, I like to say. DIY is not just about building cool things, but understanding your surrounding and what they are made of and how they became what they are. It’s a certain awareness and appreciation of not just technology, but Intelligence and cleverness it takes to make it. So I’m pretty happy that the Economist could see that too.

When I think about the implications of this, this is also what will be needed in the rebuild of society and getting it to grow again. Essential knowledge. Imagine building or putting together a massive kit for this purpose that with the right training and patch of land you roll it out and start building your society…. hmm.

I think it is good to see the any and people can have a hand at making things better for the world, and that there is no tier in all this that we cna’t attain. Help this project get off the ground, because after the apocalypse it maybe the tech that saves us all.
This image just made me think what would happen to all the theme parks in Orlando during the Zombie Apocalypse. I mean could they be actually a bastion for people to hide in? Or a Death Trap? I mean i have it on good authority that some of them, like Disney World, have a huge labyrinthine network under them. Is that enough? I mean I would love to do an arc concerning that but, if there is one thing thing scarier than zombies, it’ the big Mouse and his insidious friends… and lawyers.
