Another bites the dust while “Abuelita” (Grandma in Spanish) tastes STOP SIGN!
Hopefully you’re having as much fun watching zombies go to shit as much as I had fun drawing it! We will get back to the story, as you can see by the mysterious text boxes, Bruno is being watched in action. Fans? or Help?
This weekend was San Diego ComicCon which seemed to have been bursting at the fucking seems with news, announcement, previews, etc. but what was really cool is to me, is that small press was really banging some drums and people like Rich Johnston at BLEEDING COOL has won some incredible fucking AWESOME POINTS for his spirited sprint with a camera through artist alley. Rich you are a prince, I salute you.
Now of there was a lot of crap announced here and there a the con, and that’s expected, so I can’t say I was blown out of my chair with anything in particular but I was impressed with some stuff. The big stuff like Thor and Green Lantern seem to be pretty cool and probably enjoyable, but can’t say I’m pissing my pants….yet. Scott Pilgrim looks great and the books are awesome so that is a must ad deserves a lot of the praise it gets for sure. While other stuff is hitting me out to right field, surprising in their aesthetic and ideas. What did you folks think?
Of course Walking Dead peaked my interest from my ridiculous amount of posting and twitter and on here. It really is building up to be an amazing series, I think on par with MAD MEN or BREAKING BAD (which I’m watching now) and feel like it could blow a lot of people out of the water. My one question is, how much are we going to see as first season? I already saw some bits more added with the preview, so I know they’ll bring in more than what we read. It makes me want to make more ZY, better ZY, Bigger ZY.
Sure some artist could put with jealousy but I will tell you the truth it feeds me, it invigorates me to do better. I hope you see that.
