Now some of you with some know-how will be thinking “Two .45s dude? How Hollywood”

Well……yeah.

But before you start rolling your eyes, there is another reason I dig .45 and wonder why they aren’t used in more zombie survival: power.

Now the average .12 gauge is your best hands down best zombie effient weapon, I believe. Realatively inexpensive, easy up keep and really, you jsut need to point it at the general direction of the zombies and you’ll hit. With some buckshot, you can blast a good group of zombies causing damage, but that the thing, you only caused some damage, it’s still limping it’s ass to get to yours. At close range, you will split the fucker in half, but we’re trying to get around that right?

I have a .45 ACP Colt Defender that I’ve shot, and other than the fact that it just a thing of fine precision engineered beauty, it also can blow a hole into almost anything, and if it still twitching afterwards, well, your shit out of luck anyway.

Now on the internet you’ll get the whole opinion on well “you’ll run out of Ammo” and no fucking doubt you will, but doesn’t mean you can’t get more. The average gun shop, if you can break in, will have so much ammo you’ll really have to be a nut to run out. (now breaking in is a bitch because most Gun Shops are more secure than banks)

Also, a pistol can still be very effective, as long as you know how to speed load as fast and efficient as possible.

Of course, AIMING the thing might help also. If you’re a good shooter, and go for a 2/1 combo (two in the chest, one in the head) you should be able to get around 2-3 zombie per clip, maybe more with an extended mag

The end-all be-all of Zombie Guns should be the Shotgun; with it’s massive power, easy operation, and spread shot capabilities. it should be there with Machetes/Crowbars as a sidearm. Not like a stupid Chainsaw; don’t get me started on how stupid a chainsaw would be…

In the end, I’m just bullshitting my way out of giving Frank two .45s because they are cool and heygivemeabreakgeez man.
