We were at the Creature Booth all day, selling our wares of Zombie Years, but also Ravenous (by John Ulloa and Jose Varese) TOMMY (Ulloa, Pineyro, and me) all our other books. We had great reaction and after being on the NERD NATION podcast Independent Comics Panel and then the STUDENTS OF THE UNUSUAL Panel, we got some great feedback and lots of new readers to our books. We should have a new online store up at Creature Soon BTW to get these books, especially the new Zombie Years issue 4 and TOMMY.
I met lots of folks, I saw some old fans and old friends, hung out with some celebrities…kinda. (YOU CAN SEE SOME OF THAT HERE) But the best part was at the NERD NATION panel when one guy pretty much tagged me out and said I helped him get inspired enough, to start on his own comics and marketing his book out himself. I was flabbergasted. I was just beside with myself with happiness… not only for me, but really for the fact that if I can get another person to really start creating and throw off the shackles of fear, MAAAAAAAAAAAAAN, then I’ve done my job.

Fresh out of the Megacon, I give a rundown of the weekend.
Which animals could benefit the most from global warming? is a really interesting article, and obviously it begs the same question for South Florida and the giant unique ecosystem of the Everglades within it. Right now we’re going through some craziness with because of Pythons and other non-native species coming into the place. Some have made their homes quite soundly beside us like iguanas, others not so much. So with this oncoming global warming coming at us, what can we expect to happen to the native species, and in turn, to us here in South Florida?
Also Florida being as low as it is, could probably just get swallowed in the sea and turn , MAYBE, into a chain of islands… gondolas anybody?
