Thoughts on The Walking Dead Screen Shots

Friday, June 4th, 2010

By now everybody and their mother has heard about “The Walking Dead” making it to the TV screen.  On AMC no less!

It’s exciting, and all types of heaping AWESOME from what I’m seeing. The fact that would want to take it along the lines of Mad Men or Breaking Bad, goes to show the type of commitment they maybe want to take with it. And even though it’s a Horror Based show, if done just right, and held to expand on the Storyline from the books, I think it could possibly the Next LOST. Now for me it doesn’t have to be, because I’ll be watching anyway, and it would be interesting to see the general public wrap itself around Zombies.

Deadboy The Elephantmen “Stop, I’m Already Dead” + My sneaking suspicion for Walking Dead

Monday, June 14th, 2010

I can’t help but have a sneaking suspicion that this awesome song, by Deadboy and The ElephantMen ( which is sadly broken up now) who are hauntingly rocking, with a great blues crunch to them that is hard to find without going all to shit, will be a song covered by “The Walking Dead” AMC show coming this fall. It’s not base don shit, other than the fact as Zombie Comic Creator, I would use it too fer sure, especially as an intro to ZY.

DH:HD

I don’t know

I mean on one side, one should be happy that the comics medium can now inhabit so many different ways of seeing/reading  now a days between the IPHONE/IPAD, the web, and maybe even Sky writing. The one thing is that it seems to be the driving force of many companies, and I worry that maybe we’ll start forgetting that you ALSO need a COMIC STORY. Now, in this troubled economic shitville times, I can appreciate anyway to keep some type of revenue going in the industry, but it seems such a mad dash for some kind mythical pot of gold.

Maybe I’m being a narcissistic ass about it, pouting, arms folded in my corner, but I can’t help that this is just leading to the bad idea.

I hope I’m wrong.

When you absolutely need to go MANO A MANO with the undead, it seams these guys have it covered…

Thought i would seriously consider not touching a zombie, depending on what kind we’re talking about (Blood infected “28 Days Laters” Zombie, Hell-is-Full Zombie, a Rotter, etc.) the maneuvering techniques and placement are sound. They just need to work in the “About to die, Pull the pin on the Grenade for a grand Death” technique.
